even as TODAY..still..ringing the doorbell..

had no

knowledge.. was still coming ..

with cards..

showing their love and support..you tend to wonder..just how

LIFE

is..when death's door comes knocking...my mother's name was

spread throughout 131 st all the way to 135 ave and 131 st..where

most of my friends, my children friends..all the way from ROCKAWAY

blvd..2>THE SOUTH ..

where just this morning..a close Girlfriend of mine

name>Kathy who grew up with me ..went to school w/me..moved from

south ozone park to Winston Salem NC..called..the word spread

like wild fire..I came upstairs..my brother told me..another>kathy I

know from down the block ..

a very close neighbor/friend who went tothe same church as mom

for years..her daughter..

Sherrese & son Chris ..whose a friend 2my son Nathan..

came to pay their respects.

LIFE..

the elements of time..wears the soul of godliness..never knows

that my mom had another reacurrence

of swelling in her LEG where they found a clot in November..

so TODAY..SHES BEEN admitted again to see if there is more ..

Saturday January 9.2010..UPDATE ON MOM

MY MOM & DAD..BACK IN THE DAYS

Goodmorning ..Well ..
I haven't been to good..mom is not doing too well..in her past 4 days
she's not responsive with her memory..the doctor came to visit Thursday..gave her a checkup where her vital signs are good..she has a slight cold..and her eating habits are not as well as before..she was able to feed herself..but as of today..shes not able to adapt to using her hands to feed herself..her legs are very weak and shes getting very hard
to manage..can't walk like before won't sleep..talks to God all night..found her in bed
w/ the blankets off of her..had to make it all over this morning..shes grabs at everything now..had to take a few things off the table,due to her thinking it was food...had to move them..gets a lil frustrated when I keep repeating to swallow her food..I am not happy at this point..the realization is hitting me hard..now..I have be very careful not to get her upset..as well as myself ..need to rest..although on saturdays..the Aide is not present...so I am under pressure..don't wanna upset anything as far as the day goes..
family is coming...have to get her ready for a visit..got her cleaned..dressed..and prepared..she is resting now..as I write..but...have to keep an eye on her performance all day..Pray for my mom who ever reads this..gonna have to use the wheel chair from room 2 room now..I am feeling terrible...SHE IS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE..HELP ME LORD..KEEP ME STRONG..thank u for listening..have a blessed day ..Peace..Create..stj

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Today, we noticed a group of male students wearing

black sweatshirts
(hoodies) with wordings on the front and back.

The front side had:

Edsel Ford, class of 2011.

The back side had a nickname for each student in addition to our
Thunderbird logo and the number 11. The number eleven had a

ten window design on each strand. Beneath the number eleven,

the words ...“You can’t take us down “..were printed.

The whole design gave prominence to the 9-11 tragedy.
It made several staff members and students upset because
of the perceived message. The students in question were

processed in the main office and their hoodies were confiscated.

I am meeting with their parents tomorrow
to discuss this incident and its ramifications.

After talking with the students, it became clear that there were

no intentions of harm rather a very inappropriate
and distasteful attempt to draw attention to themselves and

TUESDAY JAN 5/UPDATE ON MOTHER

GOOD MORNING..

THIS WILL BE A SERIES OF COMMENTARIES ON MY MOTHER'S

CONDITION...

In the following weeks to come..I will be letting u know how my

mother is.. by now..U SHOULD KNOW..she has Dementia, of which is a memory

lost, also has cancer of the breast..

For the past weeks mom has

been showing good eating habits

well speech..laughing..smiling..

keeping us informed of her

mental state and her current thought process..

I start off in the

morning..getting her up for a bath..

fixing breakfast..checking

her vital signs..seeing how everything is doing...

on Mondays

the visiting nurse comes to provide the necessary

checkups

where shes been a..ok..

I started bringing her outta the room

and into the kitchen..

being that's where her destination leads

her from the bedroom..

so it makes it more convenient..less

walking ..keeps it at a medium..

I place her in her chair...start

preparing her morning meal..after..

I take her into the living room

w/my brother Tony..

where she gets some intervention..watches

T.V...even though ..

her eyes can't see well..due to her glaucoma

cataracts as well..

Throughout this period of her sickness..she's

been a wonderful joy of happiness..

though some are finding it

very difficult to adjust..seeing her so small..

lost about 60lbs..

it's very hard to see her go down..

in the months past..but..all

day she prays..

u see her moving her lips & speaking to God...

u hear her say..How much she loves him,

we come from a

very christian background..

was raised in church every Sunday

had to give our thanks..

believe ..were all his children..

give thanks

no matter how u feel..

even if things are not going ur way..he is our

father in Heaven..

the main generator..that keeps us motivated

all through our lifetime..

give the Lord..THY God total respect..

and he will take care of all ur blessings...

She was probably 16 years old and had a wide,

flat Asian face, a long neck and a slim figure.

The girl died 1,500 years ago. But now she’s reborn -

well, partially, at least.

At the National Palace Museum of Korea

yesterday officials from the Gaya

National Research Institute of Cultural

Heritage in Korea

unveiled the restored model of

the girl from the

Gaya confederacy era (42-562).

The restoration is the result of two years of

interdisciplinary work that brought together experts in

archaeology, forensic medicine, anatomy,

genetics, chemistry and other fields -

a notable step forward in Korean archaeology.
In December 2007, archaeologists discovered

the complete remains of the girl

and partial remains

of threeothers in a tomb in

Changnyeong County,

South Gyeongsang.

By the time of the discovery,

there had already been a

grave robbery.

Archaeologists concluded that

the four were

attendants of the tomb’s owner

because they were positioned

horizontally.

The remains of the owner,

however, were missing.

“We rarely find bones

in such a good condition

from the era because soil in

Korea is really rich,”

said Lee Seong-jun,

a researcher at the institute.

“There have been restorations,

but most of them were based on

the imagination. This case, however,

is strictly based on medical science,

somatology and statistics.”
Lee added that the discovery was the

first time forensic experts -

in this case from

the

National Institute of Scientific

Investigation -

recovered the remains of an

ancient tomb."

For example, overall unemployment was 5.1% on Manhattan's Upper East and West Sides, compared to 15.7% in Central Bronx and 19.2% in East New York. I wanted to tell you this before the tickets went on sale in most places….
Madea is officially going on tour! That's right, a Madea play, live on tour!
I have managed to carve out about a year to go on the road and see you all again.
I gotta tell you, I have missed you. There is nothing like a live performance and
if you've never seen a Madea play, then you haven't seen Madea at all.
It is an experience, just ask someone who's seen it…..SMILE
It's been 5 years since I've been on the road and the timing just happened to fall
right into place. I needed to get away from Hollywood for a second…clear my head
. There is no better way to do that than to come out and see your faces and be
reminded of where this all started. The show is called MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY.
I'm going to come through as many cities as I can. I know I can't get to all of them but
I'll try and get as close as I can. Get your tickets early! I want you to have the opportunity
