With over 10 years in the beauty industry. California native Miyako J. had her sights on the big city of New York. Then bartender Turned M.A.C. Cosmetics artist is now working on Commercials for such clients as Colgate Total, MTV Networks, and HGTV. Campaigns with Ford Motors, Honora pearls and Botox Brands, Fashion Shoots with EllE Mexico, Pride London, Marie Claire, She Caribbean, and Oprah”O” Magazine.
2008 has been an amazing year for the artist with her 3rd year directing make up for the renowned Pulse Jamaica, Caribbean Fashion Week of which included Rapper Eve and Actress Vanessa Williams. Currently Miyako J. has relocated to the caribbean as the new Beauty editor for St. Lucia published Magazine SHE Caribbean. Her future brands include her Beauty line”MJBB” Miyako J. Beauty Bar. “This is a wonderful opportunity for me to feel what real beauty is”, says the artist. “Every morning when I wake up, I smell the flowers; I hear the birds and swim in the sea.
