Thanks for your reply. I sincerely wish I could help you with your issues however I am a member of BP like yourself. The Gala has nothing to do with BP other than there are lots of us who are still there or has moved to Yahoo Groups, New Friends,Tagged and Facebook to name a few sites.

I honestly don't think any website can control who send you information unless you can make your profile 'private'.. They do have ' block sender' and reporting channels however that is of course after the ugly postings..

We developed family typed friendships when on BP and we've maintained them over the years coming together four to six times a year at nice upscale activities that we all enjoy. Activities like African American Festivals, visiting museums, Mystery Dinner Theaters, Jazz Concerts, family reunions and so much more..

Most of us moved to other sites however the friendships we made on BP still remain. The Gala is another meeting place for us. Its probably one of the best NYE Galas on the East Coast for quality. This is there 17th year and they have people from over 15 to 20 states who attend.. There are three events that I host my friends from the social networking websites and I hope you will join us someday.. Its never all about a party.. We always include educational and cultural activities .. We truly stay away from all the internet crazy stuff.. I am a respectful and somewhat high profile person in the Philadelphia and Delaware community and would never sacrifice my integrity..
